Otayitiskiwin Kiskinwahamakikamik is a nursery to Grade 6 school located in Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation. Our school has Cree immersion for Nursery and Kindergarten as well Cree immersion class for grades 1, 2, and 3. Our school also implements a variety of after school programs for our students such as computer club, science club, ball hockey, Jr. Chief and Council, and much more.

Kid Eating

Our students complete the standard Manitoba Provincial Curriculum for grades Nursery to Grade 6. Additionally, our students also take classes such as music, Cree language, outdoor education, and life skills. Our school has a nutrition program which provides breakfast and lunch to students who wish to utilize it, along with morning snacks.

Jack Moore Traditional Program

Behind our school is the Jack Moore Traditional Program which has 2 cabins where our students take part in a variety of cultural teachings such as beading, sculpting, snowshoe making, and more. Our school has a variety of different support staff such as Resource teachers, Speech and Language facilitators, counsellors, and more.
