On March 6th and 7th, 2023, NNOC had presentations from Vanessa Tait and Kristen McKay from Be the Change. Vanessa is from South Indian Lake and Kristen is from Pine Creek First Nation. During their visit they held a presentation, sang songs, and shared stories about their lives. Later in the day students were invited to paint with Vanessa and Kristen and later did an activity together where students listed the positive things about NCN, the negative things, and how they want to fix things for the future.
